Hi, was at the Garage for The Posies last night. There were lots of people using cameras - not professional ones, but mostly small digital ones.

Andy, sorry, am not gonna be out this weekend.Hope you enjoy your time in London.
Carl, doing London and Norway in 2-3 weeks is enough.Depending of course, what you into, what sorta thing you wana see and do.In London you need 3-4 days to see the sights, markets, go to a few pubs, spot of shopping etc. And in Norway you could do one of the bus-tours to see the fjords,and then fly to Northern Norway (Lapland). These places only take 1-2 days each, including travel. And Norway is so expensive you may not want to do too much shopping!
Plenty of camera phones in use last night for the Ginger gig. Most of them came out when Conny Bloom came on stage!!!!
Conny with Ginger again? That would be cool if they could just throw it together again just to get out one more Silver Ginger album!

Ginger and Dregen - as far as i know they are still friends. Ginger just won't have anything musicaly do to with Backyard Babies.
I'm not that impressed with my first listen of the new Ginger cd. Very poppy. Bring back either Silver Ginger 5 or the Wildhearts.
oh and if these were the pics on the Listee site they were great. Who was the other guitarist?

It feels "forced" at times. The Wildhearts had a crazy skill of wandering into the craziest riffs, but it always flowed and somehow felt right. When Ginger does that now (and I am talking about the reformed Wildhearts also), it almost feels like he knows that is a "Ginger trademark" and he forces it to happen. It just doesn't have the flow anymore. Plus, IMO, he has become too "Beatle-like" with his vocals. I prefered the snarl of old, as opposed to the "over-harmonized" thing he does now. Granted, what hurts him for me is a comparison to what he has done in the past. He is still above many else, but knowing what I know about him, I am slightly disappointed. I will take the solo album over the Wildhearts Must Be Destroyed stuff though.

I was surprised how well Random looks. He's lost about 2 stone.
I have grown to like this new album alot. I wasnt mad for it to begin with , although some stand out tracks, 10 flaws dowm. Man who..Yeah Yeah Yeah etc, but I have grown into it a lot.
maybe best as a storming single album rather than adouble but I love the NYC grand master flash-esque (is that a word?) 3rd track in.
However, I also think Wildhearts Must me Destroyed is a cracking album. My only disappointment was find out from Stidi that he didnt play the awsome double beater bass drum track on 'All up to me' the C**t double tracked it using Pro-Tools. Cheat!

Also just spoke to His Gingerness in the last day or so. Jase and Random JP doing the dates. Connie is otherwise engaged with Hanoi dates so Ginge is currently looking around for another 'special guest' six stringer.
